In the Fall of 2014, St. Peter the Apostle School began offering Full Day Three Year Old Pre-Kindergarten along with it’s Four Year Old Pre-K!

- FCC and SACS Accredited
- Half day option for the three year old program is from 8:00-11:30 Monday through Friday.
- “The Creative Curriculum for Pre-School” is used at St. Peter’s. This is a comprehensive, research based curriculum designed to help educators at all levels of experience plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content rich program for children with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

- Brand new age appropriate playground installed Summer of 2014.

- 2 packs – 8 ct. Crayola Original Formula Markers – Washable/conical tip
- 1 – 24 court Crayola Crayons
- 2 – 4oz Elmer’s School Glue, white
- 1 pair of blunt Fiskars scissors
- 1 box Bandaids
- 2 pack of glue sticks – large
- 1 box of gallon size Ziploc Bags
- 1 box of Kleenex tissues
- 4 – 42 count baby wipes
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 box of envelopes letter size
A Day in Three Year Old Pre-Kindergarten:
7:45 – 8:05 Welcome, unpack, sign
8:05 – 8:35 Limited Free Choice: table games, Play-dough, home living, blocks, cars (Teachers help children acclimate to classroom)
8:35 – 8:45 Morning Circle: Morning prayer, Leader, Songs and Finger Plays, Color and Number of the day, Religion
8:45 – 9:15 Outside: (Teachers plan activities, bubbles, chalk, easel painting, sand toys, etc.)
9:15 – 9:25 Bathroom, wash hands, Blessing
9:25 – 9:40 Snack
9:40 – 10:40 Free Choice: all centers open, Art activities available at this time, bathroom
11:15 – 11:30 Circle time, songs and stories
11:30 – Half day students are dismissed
11:30 – 12:00 Lunch
12:00 – 12:45 Outside
12:45 -2:15 Rest
2:15 – 2:40 Free Choice
2:50 – 3:00 Story, Prayer, dismissed to home or Aftercare
*Students are able to go to the bathroom any time needed
