Events Calendar

  • Learning Centers: The classroom is organized into interest areas or learning centers. These areas include: Language arts/ books, writing and listening, math, science, table games, blocks, dramatic play, and art.
  • Technology: All of the classrooms at SPA are equipped with computers and SmartBoards, including Pre-Kindergarten.
  • Spanish: Senora Portman, the Spanish instructor for SPA, uses singing and interactive play to teach Spanish to her youngest students.
  • Art: Students get creative (and messy) working with everything from paint, to clay, to shaving cream.
  • Music: Singing, playing instruments and listening to different types of music are part of the daily curriculum.
  • P.E.: In addition to daily playground time, students have an organized P.E. class in the school’s gym or outside once a week.
  • Religion: Learning to understand and cherish the Catholic faith is part of the religious enrichment provided by SPA.
