Matthew Gavin is a pre-kindergartener at SPA school and has a condition called Achromatopsia.
What is Achromatopsia? Achromatopsia is a non-progressive and hereditary visual disorder which is characterized by decreased vision, light sensitivity, and the absence of color vision. In the U.S. it affects about 1 in every 33,000 people
Pre-Kindergarten students are having a fundraiser to help Matthew’s family purchase special equipment and fund research for a cure. Breakfast biscuits will be pre-sold for $3.25 a biscuit, and then delivered on Thursday, March 19, 2015. If you would like to purchase a breakfast biscuit for this day, please fill out the attached form and send it back to school with your money by Friday, March 13th.
