Mrs. Stephanie Herb
Religion Teacher
Mrs. Stephanie Herb was born in Savannah and is a graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a degree in History and is certified in the Orton Gillingham method of reading instruction. Mrs. Herb taught in the public school system and, for eight years, taught at St. Michael’s School on Tybee Island.  Mrs. Herb is married and is the mother of two girls, both graduates of St. Peter the Apostle School and both now in college.   Her favorite hobby is reading.

Mr. Jeff Moeller

Mr. Jeff Moeller is the Middle School Reading and Language Arts teacher, subjects which he has taught for over 25 years.  Before he joined our faculty here at St. Peter the Apostle School, he taught at the middle school and high school level in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where he taught for the past 20 years.
Mr. Moeller is an ardent fan of mysteries and has incorporated a Sherlock Holmes unit and a “Who-Dun-it” mystery in his curriculum.  In the process, he has written and co-directed several versions of a Sherlock Holmes Dinner Theater.
In addition, he has coached baseball, boys’ and girl’s basketball, cross country, football, softball, and track at the middle and high school levels.
He and his wife, Diane, have a daughter, Brooke, who is a fourth-grade teacher in Bethlehem, PA, and two Siberian Huskies named Kody and Tally.
Mr. Moeller has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University and has been a freelance sportswriter for New York-based websites as well as major daily newspapers across the country.  He co-authored the book, “Fifty Phabulous Phillies” in 2000.  He is an avid collector of 1966 Batman memorabilia and isn’t shy to don the costume of the Caped Crusader!

Mr. Gregory Scott
Social Studies/Science Teacher

Mr. Gregory Scott is the Middle School Social Studies and Physical Science teacher, as well as the K-8 Computer Science teacher.  Mr. Scott is a Savannah native and graduated from Armstrong State University with a BA and an MA in history and Georgia Southern University with a BS in mechanical engineering.  He is passionate about the history of science and science education and believes that it is essential for educators to explain how science and faith relate to and illuminate one another.  Mr. Scott has spent years as a math tutor and teaching college history and has also taught 6th grade social studies.
When he is not teaching or tutoring, Mr. Scott spends his time with his daughter, Leila.  He also loves playing trivia, hiking, reading, and jazz.

Mrs. Wynter Kelly
School Principal/Science Teacher
Mrs. Wynter Kelly has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Georgia and her Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Notre Dame. She holds Georgia State Certification in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Kelly has 29 years of educational experience as a classroom teacher, tutor, coach, and athletic director. She has been the dean of students in California, Rhode Island, and Georgia. Mrs. Kelly came to SPA from the offices of the Diocese of Savannah where she was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Catholic Schools. Mrs. Kelly is the mother of five children, including one who attends St. Vincent’s Academy and one at St. Peter the Apostle School. She and her family are members of our parish and residents of Wilmington Island.
