Used Backpack Collection Update

Thank you to all who donated bags and backpacks to the "Friends of Forsyth Park"! Over 50 bags were collected to help others less fortunate!
NEEDED: BACKPACKS
Please don't throw away your used back pack when school is out, please donate them to the "Friends of Forsyth Park".
Starting May 25th to June 1st, St. Peter's will be collecting any end of the year backpacks you care to donate for our Friends of Forsyth Park. Friends of Forsyth Park is a group that provides a hot lunch to over 250 less fortunate persons at Forsyth Park each and every Sunday during the year.
Bags and backpacks are in great need for these individuals. A lot of our friends in Forsyth Park sleep in shelters at night and then must be out and about all day before they are permitted to return to the shelter at night. They need bags/backpacks in order to carry around their personal belongings all day long. Many are currently using plastic grocery bags for the precious few items that they own.
Please drop off any backpacks, bags or large purses that you no longer need to the drop off location on the designated table in the St. Peter Gymnasium. Thank you very much!
