Sr. Roberta's February Message

February, 2012

Dear Parents,

In the words of St. Paul, “I give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in my prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope of our Lord Jesus Christ” ( 1 Thess. 1:2,3)

February is the month of giving and thanking God for all the blessings we have…Valentines’ Day is celebrated.  Ash Wednesday and Lent begin.  Winter is coming to its end.  It is a time of change.  As I reflect on this and the wonderful experiences I have had at St. Peter’s I realize that it is time for me to move into a new phase of my life.  Therefore, I am retiring at the end of this school year and moving back to Buffalo.  I have given 47 years to Catholic Education, 30 of those years as a Principal.  They have been wonderful, challenging years and I have loved my ministry in Catholic Education.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and your children. It truly has been a gift.  I believe that you are the future of our Church and the leaders of tomorrow.

I will continue to be committed to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School to the end of the School Year.

You and your children will always be in my prayers.

God bless,

Sr. Roberta
