Faculty
St. Peter the Apostle faculty members are well trained educators and role models, who view their daily work as a vocation. They are committed to upholding our school's mission statement, which proclaims that we are a Christ-centered community built on Gospel values, and that we empower all to lead faith-filled lives.
Highly devoted to their vocation, they teach enthusiastically, plan collaboratively, share their expertise with their colleagues, continue their own educations, coordinate extra-curricular programs, direct plays, and nurture their students as they learn and grow. Collectively our teachers bring a diversity of education, with undergraduate and graduate degrees, and a broad range of professional and personal experience to our school.
St. Peter's teachers bring kindness and patience out of genuine concern for the sound development of each student. They also bring unusual energy and enthusiasm to the classroom each day. The low student-to-faculty ratio allows our teachers to gain an understanding of each student's individual struggles, strengths and aspirations. This insight equips our teachers with better ability to help each student achieve his or her full potential.
St. Peter's faculty and staff are comprised of Sisters of Mercy, a Sister of St. Joseph, a Sister of St. Mary of Namur - our principal, and full-time and part-time lay teachers.
