Academic Overview
Together we Learn.
St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School educates students to strengthen and develop a personal love for Christ, develop a wholesome self-image and assume personal responsibility for learning. This is accomplished by establishing and carrying out the objectives of the school's religious, educational and extracurricular programs.
- Pre-Kindergarten, an entry level program, guides students as they begin to develop skills that will lead to reading, writing, math and life-long love for learning.
- Kindergarten gives students an early mastery in the academic fundamentals preparing them for first grade.
- Lower Grades (1st, 2nd and 3rd) students progressively build a solid foundation of academic skills and a love of learning, preparing them for success in the upper grades.
- Middle Grades (4th and 5th) students build upon previously acquired basic skills and prepare for the rigorous junior high curriculum by continuing development of study skills and good work habits.
- Upper Grades provide a strong academic preparation for a college preparatory program at the high school level.
