Mrs. Sallie Boyles has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Armstrong State University, an M.Ed. in Education from Clemson University, Certifications in Physical Education K-12, Elementary Education K-5, Middle Grades Science, Middle Grades Social Science, Counseling (Adult and Family Therapy).  She has been teaching for 18 years at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic School.
She has been married for 35 years to Mark Boyles, a civil engineer. They have two daughters who graduated from St. Peters–Kaley graduated with her M.Ed from Georgia College and teaches Special Education at Coastal Georgia Comprehensive Academy and Sara Kathryn is a Junior at Georgia College.  When Mrs. Boyles is not at school she loves to read, ride her bike, walk, and go to the beach.

68-560Sallie Boyles said, “I really enjoy the transition with sixth grade in seeing them go from elementary students to middle school students.  I love to teach sixth graders organizational skills to become successful middle school learners.  Seventh graders are special because they are into middle school and we get into more analytical thinking skills where they take a concept they know about and apply it to a new situation.  The Science Fair is also great because it teaches students the process of the scientific method which they have to know in high school and beyond.  Eighth Grade is a wonderful time because of our close collaboration with the schools we feed to (SVA and BC).  I can teach the students how to become successful high school students.  My expectations are high and my students really work beyond their abilities.”
